I know that everyone is in sports overload this weekend and yeah I like football better too.. but at least throw something on this post - if for no other reason just to let us know you're alive and if you were left shirtless from yesterday's college games... it's ok, you can still come in.

Yesterday: (My best picks went 3-2)
Florida squeaked it out in 10 innings & Minn beat Detroit. Mets took care of the dodgers and the other two CA teams decided to lose as well for my two losses.

Yesterday: (Why Not Bets went 2-3)

Today (My random thoughts & quick analysis)

Phil @ Florida (Caution)
If your a PHI fan you could probably bet it. I can't go against FL but don't see them winning this one. FL needs Willis to go as far as he can today, becuase there bull pen is shot from last nights game. This should mean a much higher scoring game and you might want to take a look at the over. Not suggesting any plays on this game, just thoughts.

LAD @ Mets (NYM -140 4 Units)
All stat advantages go to the Mets in this game, except hitting, but these have all been low scoring games. Unkown Pitcher for Dodgers. 66% of the Money is on the NYM.

Pitt @ Cin (Cin -189 PARLAY)
This game is really a no brainer with Arroyo pitching against and unknown. With the line at -189, I prefer to throw it into a two team parlay with another pick I like.
Just enough unkowns here that you could throw a token bet at Pitt in "why not" category.

Houston @ Mil (Hou +128 2 Units)
This game means much more to Houston than Mil. I looked at it and said this game should really go to Houston, than looked at where the money was going. Sure enough 53% is being laid down on Houston.

Washington @ Colorado (CO 1 Unit)
Colorado has handled Washington easily in this series and should continue.
However, even though Astacio has a worse record he is giving up less ER than Francis over the last few games.

SD @ SF (You Call It)
A pure battle of wills in this game. I have no idea which way it will go.

Stl @ Arizona (Stl -121 2 Units)
I was going to pass on this game, but Pitching match up highly favors St. Louis and 68% of the Money is going that way. Also, can't see them losing 3 in a row to Arizona.

Oak @ TB (Oak -169 4 Units)
It will be absolutely absurd for Oakland to lose this game. Zito is 7-3 in last 10 starts vs T.B. Maybe I am just pissed becuase they lost yesterday.

KC @ Bos (KC +144 1 Unit)
Lets just say I am glad I am not a Boston fan, losing the last 2 to KC. This bet does fall into the "Why Not" category but I can see KC taking this one. Redman is 2-0 in his last three starts with a 2.14 ERA.

Okay that is it for Baseball today. I still have to fantasy football and today's NFL games to contemplate.
