A very small winning day yesterday, but that is still better than a losing day. Missed the day games today. I liked the mets and cincinnati, so I would have split anyway.


dodgers -117 vs colorado (3 units)................This is a no brainer to me. I cannot believe that the odds are this low. Sure the rockies beat them last night and snapped the winning streak, but so what. That does not make the dodgers cold all of a sudden does it? No, it does not. The dodgers have played very well vs the rockies this year and it should continue tonight. I don't care if this game loses, I have no regrets taking it at these odds. What a steal!!

houston -215 vs pittsburgh (3 units).............This is very rare that I take a fav this big, I usually play the runline but with the way the rocket does not get any support, they could easily win a one run game. The pirates got shelled last night, so I am hoping the stros have found their bats for roger. The pirates continue to be the worst road team in bases and this should be a route, but you never know. I will be so shocked if pittsburgh goes into houston and beats roger clemens. I guess in addition to being shocked, I would be out some units as well.

minnesota -117 vs toronto (2 units).............Wow! twins are 39-15 at home while the jays are 22-30 on the road. Yes, sometimes it is this simple. Don't want to overthink this one and talk myself into toronto because minny looks too easy. Jays might have a slight pitching edge tonight, but that is all. Again, at these odds, win or lose I have to try it.

boston -230 vs kansas city (2 units).............Again I am playing the huge favorite tonight. I never do this and now I am playing two in the same night. Boston cannot afford to lose games like this with Schilling on the hill. The KC pitcher is horrible and he should get lit up tonight while Curt shuts down the royals.


No one unit plays for tonight with the small schedule. I might take Friday off in bases, not sure yet, so if I don't post you will know why. I will be back Saturday either way for the late afternoon and night games.
