Default Whale Watch Round 1 Series

Sometimes you can find yourself in a pickle when you select the series. Unless I love a series I like to go game by game-cause things can change really fast. I might have the favorite and love a dog in game 5 or 7-then there is not a chance for good money but here goes: I will keep a seperate thread for other plays.

STL -220 o LA in 3 games. I personally think LA is terrible. My only concern is STL hasn't played a meaningful game in about a month. STL pitchung is not as strong without Carp-but Bats are way tto strong. I always look for a team that can win on the road and STL is one. Gagne has actually been touchable so far-if it came to that. Izzy has been good. If the Cards are not rusty they roll.

Hou -130 o ATL in 4 games. I am NOT going ag Oswalt and Clemens twice-esp with a team that has one 20 in a row at home. I don't like Hou on the road and this price is too high-BUT laying -130 is not high by any means. Pitching favors Hou-bats are even in my mind(cause Stros are hot). Bullpen even as Smoltz has NOT been himself. Lidge has come around. I will take the hottest team in baseball and they are the ONLY team(Ana too) in baseball playing well right now. If they win 1 of the 1st 2 in Atl they win it.

Boston -175 o Ana in 4 games. Wow is this price high. I realize you get Schilling and Pedro-but Angels are a good club to me. I am a member of Red Sox nation-so enough said. Ananhiem's use of its staff to make the playoffs hurts. Most guys 3 days rest the last 3 weeks. Guys outside of Manny and Ortiz have to hit the ball. Ana bats are equal. Vlad is a monster. Bullpen big edge-but Boston starters are the key. This is a watch only series-no play(cause I think the dog has good value here).

Minn +170 o NYY in 4 games. This boils down to 1 thing only. Santana has been LIGHTS out. Give me him 2 times-in cold weather. I do not like 1 Yankee starter. Not one has been consistent. Twins are not punks-they play as a team. Minn bats are not bad. Yanks just always seem to have that pressure being the Yanks-but Twins are upstart. Nice price with Johan twice.

World Series
Boston vs STL a this point

3-1

Sticking with World Series Play:

Boston -155 o NYY in 5 games-everywhere you turn you hear someone talking about this-so I won't.

STL -200 o Hou in 5 games Better all around team

Series 5-1

Tough call
I see soooo much value in the Cards-but Boston is one of my favorite teams.
I have learned alot over the years-sometimes its better to watch and enjoy.
Pass on the series-I am taking my season profits and running.
