Thanks for reading the thread, lone D. My plays are always "risking one unit" - so, when I win, say, Nationals -109, that is +0.92 units (not +1.00). Conversely, if I lost Nationals -109, that would be -1.00 units (not -1.09). I think that explains the discrepancy between your calculation and mine.
