Split my plays last night. Won my favorite pick again and lost my dog, so I broke even for the night. Since I am no longer playing parlays or runlines, I just removed them from my record. I just have to keep in mind that I am down 11 units playing those two kinds of bets. This will definitely count down the amount of plays I have. I am sticking with my rule of no favorites above -150. And all plays are just for one unit each. I am working my night tonight, so here is my entire card for the day.


Oakland -135 vs Seattle…………..Oakland first place, Seattle last place. Oakland 5-3 at home, Seattle 2-4 on the road. Blanton for Oakland was 4-0, with an era of 1.55 last year vs Seattle. Washburn was 0-2 last year vs A’s. Oakland 7-3 last 10, Seattle 3-7 last 10. How can you not see great value with Oakland in this game. Win or lose, I will not be sorry I took this one.

Houston +110 vs Pittsburgh………….Pirates this year seem to be playing better ball on the road. They have also had plenty of trouble scoring runs as well. This is a play against Zach Duke. He has been getting lit up so far this year and they way the pirates are not hitting the ball and with Duke giving up his share of runs, it all adds up to an Astro win…and we get them as a dog to boot.

St Louis -125 vs Cincinnati………Wow! The cards at home at this price. Sure they are only 1-7 at home, but how long do you think that is going to last. Exactly. Pitching has been a problem for them. Looper who is throwing today has been pretty good so far. He is 3-1 with an era of 2.08. Albert due to unload as well. He usually has a few games in April where he hits multiple homeruns. I have a crazy feeling he does it today. Cards in a route.

Minnesota -148 vs Kansas City…………This is about a big of a fav that you will see me take. This is simply a play against KC on the road. Anytime you can go against KC on the road and not have to lay -200, it is worth a try.


The really wanted to take the Braves today with Hudson pitching, but they were slightly above my -150 rule, but it should be a winner.
