Right now this is just an anedoctal thing. I dont play the matchups very much but one thing I have really noticed the last few years is when you get a guy who wins his first or second tourney that they tend to perform real poorly after that- the immediate future I mean. Don't know if its losing the drive or what. Guys like Chris Couch. See Petterson off to bad start today. See this more and more it seems

Absolutely aly!
When a "young" or "maiden" player wins they OFTEN MC the next week. Fading them in matchups is a good angle.
Opposite for vets as you want to ride their hot play while it lasts and back-to-back wins are not uncommon for guys with 10+ career victories.
