New course that was designed by Peter Jacobsen and a little help by David Toms. Toms is getting a ton of respect this week--don't see why. Vijay has owned this event maybe they figure Toms has more exposure. Could be an interesting play take Toms--against Singh who some people think is not as good as he used to be. Will not play it but may get interested later.

What I have been doing lately is spreading out a bunch of players--haven't been hugely profitable as of yet but I am winning in the late round positions.

Here is my hit list this week:

Billy Mayfair if he draws in--is playing fantastic right now. Tee to green he is right there he just can't putt a lick with the long putter--he needs to go back to his cut stroke.

Vaughn Taylor--nice last round at Heritage signals he may be ready for more--fast starter last week as well.

Darren Clarke--Has had success in Houston in the previous years.

John Daly at 50/1 makes the hit list this week a second place finisher in this event last year (different course) and a top 30 finisher at the Heritage.

Jeff Maggert 80/1 getting up there in age but the guy loves to play golf in Houston--also his home.

Unlike Buzz, I've been doing better early, first 2 rounds. Many of my 72 hole m/u's settle at the cut. Probably a third to half my bets. Three weeks ago I was out of action following Friday's round. R1 and R2 bets are doing well also. I lay off R3 and maybe pick 1 or 2 for Sunday. So far, a good year, a great year compared to last year this time frame.

These guys should do well, according to my capping---

Daly, Owen Glover, Bo VP, and the other Olgilvie

The guys I have to do poorly are not listed in any m/u's, so I won't list them. Except Chopra.

Van Pelt to win 61.00 I bet him early, Mon. AM, now about 30-1.

Jobe over Franco -120
Choi over F. Jacobson -122
Van Pelt over Villegas -110
R1-- Parnevik over Chopra -125, 2/3 unit

Usually I'm on the dogs, when they cap up right. They just didn't this week, and I don't like it. I might have to start shotgunning for an outright winner. Pick 3 or 4 guys to get this outright deal going. Seems most people do it that way, at least over at Madjacks they do. I don't like the idea of having automatic losers though. Then again I might just hang tough with one guy a week.

Going to Yerrington tomorrow, I might get to toss the rats for a half hour. GLTA as usual.

I am taking Natalie Gulblis to win the Florida LPGA tourney

If you had Darren Clarke its a bad beat--looks like his wife is battling for her life, tough to be him right now.

Surprised that Vijay is still the favorite at WSEX--

Aly--if Baddeley can have another good round do you think he can win this??? I didn't think the course could suit him, but man he is playing good with a little less pressure.

Interesting tourney--I don't think anybody can beat Appleby he seems to like the course--went to bed and he was -198 to win now he is -181. I don't know if its somebody wanting the dog price and not risking on the favorite.

Appleby's game is too well suited to not blow a big lead. I think--doubt I will play but the 181 is screaming at me.
