$1,000 Bowmans-The Back Nine Contest>>>
Bowman's has graciously given Majorwager's Back Nine a dime towards a contest. This contest may be the easiest of all to win on the net since there are only about 8 active posters in this forum. However I will post a notice in the Mess Hall sometime.
The contest will be run in The Back Nine starting next week and running through the United States Open. I will post between 3-5 match ups each week. The contest player will pick the winner of each match up. Winners counts as 2 points, ties as 1 and losses receive nothing. I will run the contest and hopefully be able to give updated standings as the contest progresses. If the race remains tight for the winners I will post more match ups or devise a tie breaker.
The only requirements for this contest is 1) have fun; 2) be a registered member at Majorwager and 3) to be eligible for a prize the poster must have made 50 posts at Majorwager (in any of the foums) from the time the contest starts until its end.
Prizes will be awarded on the following basis (all are funded accounts at Bowman's and subject to 5x rollover)
Please indicate your participation.
Buzz, I dont go to games. I buy all the Directv packages and watch them from the comfort of my own home! I dont like listening to all the fans nonsense at games! I pay for blonde women to come over and have sex with my hispanic hottie maid, and sometimes I get involved to make it a threesome! I like to lay in my pool during the day sipping on drinks that have umbrellas!
RE:$1,000 Bowmans-The Back Nine Contest>>>
Very COOL Buzz.
One suggestion though, if not too late. Instead of having to pick ALL MATCHUPS I feel it is more "lifelike" and separates the better from the worse to only require say a min of 50% of the matchups to be picked and base the standings on winning % or units ( assuming one per play ). Forcing all matchups to be played brings luck into it too much, IMO. Post like 6 a week and the minimum to qualify is 3 ( those who want to play more can ) so that quality is emphasized over quantity. You also could miss a week without disqualifying yourself too this way. I know it makes grading and standings a bit tougher but you likely won't have that many playing anyway and I'd volunteer to help u grade if u want.
