Need to get studying up--actually got to like the World team but with Nicklaus captaining these boys might get full effort. Look at Nicklaus' pick in Couples- great pick, competitor.
Buzz, I dont go to games. I buy all the Directv packages and watch them from the comfort of my own home! I dont like listening to all the fans nonsense at games! I pay for blonde women to come over and have sex with my hispanic hottie maid, and sometimes I get involved to make it a threesome! I like to lay in my pool during the day sipping on drinks that have umbrellas!

I like the world team too. I have to tell you, I don't get too worked up about these kinds of deals, this one or the Ryder Cup. I place it in the catagory of nice to know, not need to know. I believe the American players don't give a hoot about it either. Strickly page 5 of the sports section. " Thanks for the honor, do I really have to play? I'd rather have a week off." The Euros and the rest of the world take it much more seriously, they actually try to win. Thus my backing.

The Davis cup bleeds from the same problem, and it's much more open. Tennis players just say no, I don't want to. NBA all-stars and the Pro Bowl also have the same trouble. MLB allstars, not as much, but gaining rapidly.

Pro players have a hard time getting it up for not much money and honor plus glory. It's just the way it is here.

All the Americans who express the view that Americans don't give a hoot in these obviously don't watch the players. I was in Valderama for the Ryder Cup and it certainly looked like they gave a hoot in fact they were giving it everything.

Admittedly on paper the American team always looks better for these type of events but it is how the perform under very strange conditions. Huge roars from the very first tee, partizan crowds and whether the team situation makes them raise their game or feel too pressurized are more important factors in determining the winner.
