Anyone betting it? Playing Appleby, Clark and Riley in futures.

First two can really put together the birdies when they get it going

A long monster this course. 7600 yds. No par 5's reachable in 2, maybe, barely one. Eagles will have to be legitimate, no putting for eagles. The par 4's are all long and difficult. I'm not a big fan of this scoring system, but it does make everyone go for the cup. Birdies are +2, bogeys are -1, might as well try for the birds.

Capped up these guys---Garcia, DL3, O Hair, and Browne. My money went to Garcia and O Hair. Hend 251-1 for a super longshot, only because he leads in driving distance.

Garcia to win 13-1 He's a little lower now
O Hair to win 67-1 He's a lot lower now

Garcia over Di Marco -128
O Hair over Mayfair -105
Garcia over Mick +120
Garcia over Goosen -105
Love 3 over Di Marco +110

I also took Eaks 101-1 I haven't played him in a few weeks, and he hasn't done crap for a few weeks either. GL all.

I think the emphasis that most people assume that the go for broke birdie players are the players to be with in this event is over played.

In most years the player with the lowest medal score wins anyway and this year should be another birdie fest with the winning score up in the mid forties after last years shambolic performances where it seemed nobody wanted to win.

Ben Crane should go well but isn't exactly value. A skipped week again again for me. Garcia must go well and 14/1 is okish value.

I love this golf course. Gotta go deep - high risk -- high reward type tourney. I don't think points mean anything here.

I took Mickelson at 8/1

I took Donald at 25/1

I like Sergio but I haven't done anything on it.

I am doing better watching the early rounds then taking a position.

7600 is playing closer to 6600 with the Altitude

Make sure you dont get Ogilvy and Oglive mixed up. Im taking the Aussie at 40-1. Geoff shot 20 under last week after a top 5 brit open.

There has been eagles here in past, some of par 5 are reachable for big hitters. Eagles are 5 I think and didnt Lowery dunk a 10 pointer to catch up on Sunday few years ago.

Triple POP

Oglivy -120 over Couples

Like I said Geoff playing well and is real long. Couples on other hand has bad back, he will not like walking 7600 yds on hilly course, in cold weather.
