Default Faldo is a d!ck

He is absolutely worthless and laughs at his own inane jokes. Zinger isn't much better but he at least talks legibly and makes a few points. Faldo blows!

Even so, I would take either over Lanny Wadkins any day. He is possibly the worst of all time.

Not that Zinger is any better, but it was MUCH MUCH more tolerable listening to the ABC team today WITHOUT FALDO. He really phucks the chemistry all up whenever he is on. Whomever hired him or thought an accented team member is a necessity should be fired! There seems to be some rule that a couple Aussie or English/Irish guys have to be on the broadcast team. Is it because people think their accents make them more golf savvy???

Faldo is very dry but kind of funny if you have a different sense of humour to that of most North Americans who find Jim Carey bashing his head against a toilet wall and making ridiculous noises funny!

I like Faldo, I think he adds something to the mix. But then again, I like most everyone who broadcasts on TV. In order to appreciate Nick, you have to remember back, way back when he was walking up 18 at the Masters, waving his putter to anyone who called out his name. Just being aware of the gallery, put him 5 points ahead of most pros, who think most fans are a nuisance to be endured. He was a great player, a great countryman, and a worthy human being. Not a bad thing at all.

I love a good dry sense of humor but I'm sorry I just don't think Faldo adds anything but being a twit. It has nothing to do with his on course dullness. I have heard that he is very engaging and jovial off the course but in the booth he just plain blows. His attempts at levity and humor are deadly unfunny, IMO. I like the CBS team MOSTLY, though Lanny is the weak link - but McCord and Feherty are genuinely funny and original and spontaneous at times.

Faldo is the most interesting addition to the booth in years - just because he's so off-the-rails.

He seems like a fairly funny guy with zero sense of what's socially acceptable... and you almost NEVER get to see people like that on the air, especially for golf.

Enjoy it while he lasts - five minute w/Faldo is more entertaining than a lifetime with an ignorant stiff like Curtis Strange.

Only wish he was working the Masters, so he could throw in a breezy one-liner about Cliff Roberts' poor marksmanship.
