Can Tiger win the Grand Slam??
I was just thinking of the topic, today.
the U.S. Open is at Pinehurst where Tiger took 3rd before his swing changes took effect and he went on that run. I think his driver may be the only hindrance in him winning this tourney.
British Open is at St. Andrews where I think he won and destroyed the field and beat his closest competitor Duval soundly.
The PGA is at Baltusrol which is a great golf course- I am not aware of any competitive record of Tiger's on that course but it would be interesting if he won the first three.
Buzz, I dont go to games. I buy all the Directv packages and watch them from the comfort of my own home! I dont like listening to all the fans nonsense at games! I pay for blonde women to come over and have sex with my hispanic hottie maid, and sometimes I get involved to make it a threesome! I like to lay in my pool during the day sipping on drinks that have umbrellas!
RE:Can Tiger win the Grand Slam??
I was really surprised in the aftermath of the Masters with the so called "experts" saying that Tiger wasn't the player of old and he stumbled across the line and only won because of a miracle shot on 16.
If you take DiMarco out of the equation he has blasted the field by 7! Yes, Woods did bogey 17 & 18 in regulation but he did also birdie the first play-off hole and had DiMarco not had such an amazing week the headlines of tiger winning by 7 would have sent a very different message about Tiger domination.
He is still clearly the #1 as VJ still plays well below his best when Tiger is around and Els seems only to perform nowadays when he can bully the European boys. Mickleson is interesting and IF he can his driver straight can really challenge Tiger, however I think it's a big if and he is nowhere as mentally tough as Tiger.
I'm not saying Tiger will win the grand slam this year but top 10's is guaranteed and player of the year is guaranteed too as he will have at least 5 wins including a major.
