The Buick Open
AKA, the Tiger show. +125 for Tiger seems about right. The bad news--Woods probably wins, the good news--everyone else's odds are doubled.
Mick is sick. He got the mung over in Asia last Oct. I had it myself once, lasted a year. Long way from healthy, but not really sick either. I'm going to have to put Phil on my fade list.
Torrey Pines. The venue for the US Open this year. What does that mean? I think, a lot. Woods MAY, REPEAT MAY, treat this week as a practice round for the Open. If he does, he may lose easily. Also, there are guys here this week that usually don't play this event. The courses themselves are a little harder to play, getting a leg up for the biggie.
The good guy list---
The fade list---
Daly-- He's on permanent fade list forever.
BVP, Kelly, Gore are sketchy faders.
My pick to win--- Allenby 80-1. I'm tired of backing guys that have never won. Or won only once. Screw that. Allenby knows how to win, I know this.
Mike Weir +4000
Should be a fun tournament.
I like the Allenby play Tommy.
pgatour.com is offering live coverage tomorrow too.

Friend of mine who bets golf told me to "protect" my money by betting Tiger for whatever you bet on your other players.
I should have listened, he cashed and my guy tees off and then withdraws.
