Default Do You Know What Really Bugs Me About These Pro-Ams

Is the fact that the cameras concentrate on the amateurs rather than the pros. Davis Love made a huge charge today and they didn't show him once. Instead we saw constant coverage of Ray Romano, Kevin Costner, Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Bill Murray and a bunch of others. People watch golf to see the professionals play not to watch a bunch of amateur celebrities struggle to make par or bogey.

Struggling to make par or bogey? If you are lucky! Kevin James and Ray Romano are AWFUL golfers.

The tourney didnt used to be this way. Sure they would show Jack Lemmon and Bill Murray. But they always tracked the leaders. Today other than Weir and Furyk who did you see on the pro side?

Whats worst of all is CBS will just about ONLY show James and Romano (instead of other celebrities). Why/ Cause they are on CBS thats why. Thats what this is all about. Cross promoting their shows. You get a few snippets of others but the whole focus Saturday is Romano and James. Disgusting really. They have ruined one of my favorite tourneys.

This kind of crap is slowly but surely making sports unwatchable. The networks are terrible
