Default If you ever get the chance, Play Peble Beach

Having played at PB last year, I will watch this years pro-am with an entirely different interest level. Some people call me crazy for spending that kind of money for a round of golf, but it was one of the highlights of my life. Tee times are a year out so I must not be the only crazy one.
Greens fees: $350.00
Lodging one night:$517.00 (mandatory)
Caddy: $100.00
Dinner: $125.00
Worth every penny.

Kiwi, wow, appears to be quite a resort. Interesting name. "Phuket". How did this venture come about? I have a friend who travles the world on business. Said he played in Taiwan once. They gave him four caddies. All female. One carried clubs, another a stool, another water, etc. He said it was like having a gallery around. Anyhow, hope you have a grand time. Let us know all about it.

Will report back for sure. Have visited Phuket on three occasions and yet to hit the greens. Most things in Phuket are cheap in comparison to NZ although golf is expensive. $100 ($50 US) a round. That does include clubs and a caddy ( female version. I did play 18 holes of mini putt one trip, does that count. Where I live we are spoilt with golf courses, I can drive to 11 eighteen hole coursesin half an hour and it only costs $20-$30 a round.

My mate who is a golf pro has just taken over as Club Pro at a Club thats about a 10 minute walk from my house. The deal is I tip him race-horses and get free golf in return, he must hate his money
Nice course down South, Bill Clinton played there 2-3 years ago. Very nice to play there when there is snow on the surrounding hills. Has a top hotel attached.
Course is called Millbrook.
