Personally, having the Kings in the series, I wanted Bibby to take the shot. Webber disappears for whatever reason, and even though he is the franchise player, Adleman obviously did the right thing. CWebb was in the same position earlier in the season vs. the Lakers, and he missed a wide-open 16 footer for the game. Here's an article from ESPN.com about CWebb's lategame troubles. A pretty good read:

Webber

Kobe is the most overrated player in the game, no doubt. As bad as he wants to be MJ by acting like him, he is no where close. How many game winners has Kobe hit in his playoff career? When it comes down to the final shot, the Lakers are far better with the ball in Horry's hands than Kobe. Jordan hit that shot on Ehlo in 1989, his sixth year in the league I believe. This is Kobe's sixth year, and the comparison isn't even close. Kobe went 0-2 against the Bulls this year, and lost to the Heat at home while the Lakers were Shaq-less. And that's the best player in the game? Please. When you're the best player in the league, you should manage a better record than 2-4 in games that Shaq didn't play in.

Watching the Lakers, Yankees, Rams, and Red Wings all lose as favorites would be incredible. I hate all four teams, and would've been happy if two of them lost in the postseason. Now, I have a chance to go four for four.
