I was wondering why, in the crucial possession that ended up with Bibby burying the game winning shot, the Lakers had Derek Fisher guarding Bibby; after all, he was torched by Bibby in the first half of game 4 while Kobie, who is acknowledged to a better defender anyway, had pretty much shut Bibby down in the 2nd half of that game. The Zen Master claims that Kobie begged off guarding Bibby on that last possession, while Kobie claims that he said no such thing. Any thoughts on which one is lying and will Kobie's insulted manhood cause him to guard Bibby the whole way this time?
On another subject, Webber seems to pile up impressive stats but when he touches the ball late in a close game I cringe. Also, he doesn't seem to WANT to touch the ball late. I'd prefer Stoyo the Gimp or
the Turk to take a last second shot over No More Timeouts. Maybe the Kings had better win in 6 or not win at all.
