 4 years of waiting, has finally arrived. This is it. Time to prove why CANADA owns hockey.
All those hours spent in -52 degree weather playing hockey will hopefully pay off tonight for all us Canadians. In about 30 minutes, I will be living one of my most exciting moments in sports in my entire career, and I'm not even betting on this game. I've been waiting for this now for 4 years for this revenge, and I hope this night won't be a long wait for nothing. I really do believe that we are the best in the world at this game. We are one win away from going for Gold. Hard to believe after we lost our first game, squeak out a 3-2 win vs Germany, then barely tie Czech's late. And now we're one win away from going for Gold. I pray for a Canada/Usa gold medal game, so we could whoop your butts and show you who's king. I have my lucky team Canada mug next to me. My team Canada cap. My Canadian flags hanging all around the room. My team Canada socks and team my Canada underwear on. I have my Molson Canadian beer next to me, with my smoked meat sandwich and fries, and a box of jelly donuts from Tim Horton's.
It's time to prove to the world that we are the Kings of Hockey. I haven't looked this forward to a sporting event in a long time. Go Canada Go!!!!!!!!!  |
