Well I guess it all depends on what the particular team's odds on them to win the Superbowl corresponding to the odds of them winning the Conference. A good example of this was 3 years ago I bet the Falcons to win the NFC at 15-1. There odds on winning the Superbowl was 30-1. So basically I was betting that they would be the underdog. So in that situation it was best to take the NFC bet rather than the superbowl. For the record I bet them a few games into the season that year. The opening odds on them to go to win the NFC were alot higher. |
