Two songs come to mind in 1974
-Rock the boat and Rock your baby
I don't know if those were considered disco but I'll soon find out.
Also the 1992 song at the top of the charts for 13 weeks is probably something by Michael Jackson. I'll guess Beat It.
Ronbets, the advertising song that comes to mind is "I'd like to teach the world to sing" which of course was a coke comercial but I don't believe that was by a single male performer.
Let me take a guess at the "been around" singer then and say
Sammy Davis Jr. with Candy Man although I don't know which candy that would be an advertisement for. |
