Bargain hunting! What became of Las Vegas on $25 a day? To each according to their own taste...
If I was a multi millionaire, I'd stay in one of the posh suites or even a time share place right on the upper strip. Forget the name of the time share places we stayed at in 1995, but it was very close to the MGM Grand and set back from the street. Very quiet and non stressful.
Because I'm not, we find some of the " off " times to go. If you are interested in bargoon times, the 2 weeks b4 Christmas are ideal. Nights were very cheap ( we paid $29-$39 at the Imperial ) and slightly more at Paris. We love that little quadrant anyway ( Bellagio/Caesar's/ Mirage/ Hilton/ O'Sheas/ IP, Paris ) , so it's perfect. Yes, I'd like to pay $5 for the buffet at Paris, but $12 was fine for that great spread, thank you.
Free drinks all day in big leather chairs betting ponies at the Bellagio is very nice thank you, plus all the T&A you'd like to see or talk to. We don't really want to spend hours cruising for the $1.99 special. Takes away from our overall purpose- gambling !
