I agree that he doesn't have any personal or corporate tax liability in the US. However, his sportsbook puts him in the exact same jeopardy I was in 8 years ago, maybe even more so. Not only is his nationality not a legal defense, it will certainly make it more difficult if not impossible to get bail. I met more than one person in my travels who was automatically considered a flight risk because they held non-US passports.
