I mean lets face it there is 5000 players in the event how many times do u go all in and need to avoid a bad beat?

How many times can ur AK beat 55 or vice versa

How many times can ur top set run into s str8 or flush

how many times can ur str8 run into a flush

The point im trying to make here is that No limit is a great game dont get me wrong but the way i see it to win the world championship and be called world champion is no way true i think to win the main event luck plays such a big role. U have 5000 players that is 5000 potential bad beats i mean how many times can u survive? u have 5000 mines to avoid in a piece of land its really hard to rely on skill so much of it comes to luck thats why the main event doesnt truly show the best player its shows the player who was good enough yes but also lucky enough to avoid all those mines and make it all the way.

Matt damon says in rounders to his girl that its not luck why do the best players always make it to the final table every year well we know thats not the case how many internet players make it, amateurs etc etc ok if the final table had all the greats like doyle, chan ivey etc then yes we can call it skill but u cant so much luck is needed and it shouldnte be for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

For eg. Aaron kanter and danneman i mean cmon these guys stink like yesterdays trash danneman plays home games for coins and kanter is a friggin idiot but they both make top 5 thats not right all they did was get lucky over and over again (especially kanter).

I recently watched the WPT on DVD season 1 and saw one of the worst players win one of the events chris karagullyan i think his name was he was the guy in the suit who was twicthing alot that guy is absolute trash never seen anything worse and he wins.

No limit is a great game but it cant be the event to determine who the best in the world is maybe H.O.R.S.E with a 20k buy in would be better but no limit is purely entertainment everyone going all in its great to watch but sorry im not calling joe hachem the best in the world (unless he does a three peat)
