Tough beat.
As others have mentioned, from a money management point of view, your play was far too big for your bankroll. In a way a valuable lesson that you probably won't forget. At least this way when you get your BR up to 100 dimes you are not that likely to make a similar plunge.
In addition, early in the week the money line was much lower than -5.00 on the Colts.
On game day you could have gotten -4.50 at few locations right up to kick off.
A neteller acount and a couple minutes of shopping would have saved you 1000 of exposure.
