The name of this game is to spot your mistakes and then correct or at least minimize them. I still make mistakes every single day - hopefully I'll learn from them eventually- however a helpful hint is to have some firm rules that enable you to avoid trouble.
Even though it may cost me $ in some games I will never lay significant juice in any sport (over -140 in mlb, -150 in nhl, or -130 in other sports ml's like soccer or tennis) - sure it costs me from time to time but It never really costs me if you know what I mean- haven't broken that rule in 5 years. It takes a lot of discipline to succeed in this game so the more rules that you stick to that will enable you to be successful the better off that you'll be.
