RE:Jockey and trainer suspended, accused of "race fixing" We have 'jockeys races' in the uk every now and again ... nobody knows when they are coming, but they are easy to spot by the betting patterns on betfair and the way the race is run.
The training fraternity is also very close, so when there is, for example, an all weather race featuring say trainer a (5/4 favourite), trainer, b (9/4 2nd favourite) and trainer c (7/2 3rd favourite), any price the rest, they know the result before the horses reach the paddock. What chance has an honest punter got? (answer = lots in the 90% of the straight races in the UK)
