Responding to questions about his opinion of Roe v Wade, he says that he's an umpire, not a player, presumably meaning that he will merely interpret the law, not make it. Well, great, except so far in his public career he's been an umpire who's called every pitch by the side he likes a strike, and every pitch by the other side a ball. He doesn't have to strike down Roe v Wade; he only has to wait until our sick president and his cronies pass a new law mandating a hundred years in prison for anyone who says the word "abortion," and then uphold it when it's challenged. Plus it's not only abortion, it's the whole range of social issues; say goodbye to medicinal marijuana, legal sports betting, physician-assisted suicide, cloning, family planning, and on and on.
