Default RE:Pick The Dow

BG,

Going with DOWN on Friday.
DOW hoovering just above the 100 moving average and below the rest of the averages.
Yikes!, trying to avoid being swept this week.

good luck this weekend,

"no new U.S. oil refineries have been built since the late 1970s" WHY?
So much for reinvesting profits back into the business

Kopin Corp (NASDAQ: KOPN)
NanoSemiconductor Company:

Up +61.% since being place on the www.clearstation.com WatchList. Here's why.

HBT Transistors
Ultra-efficient vertical transistors for mobile wireless and optical networking devices

Kopin is the world's leading provider of HBT (Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor) transistor wafers, which power approximately one of every three wireless handsets on the market.
Kopin's nanosemiconductor HBTs generate clear, higher-frequency signals, consume less power, and enable longer
talk time than is possible with traditional silicon-based transistors.

Kopin's HBTs were the first commercially produced vertical transistors.
These high performance transistors are formed, atomic layer by atomic layer using MOCVD (Metalorganic Chemical Vapor Deposition) production growth processes. Our growth techniques allow us to control the size of the transistor
and as a result our transistors are typically one-third the size of competing silicon solutions.
This size advantage along with the tight control of the critical geometries of the device enables our HBTs
to be faster and use less power than comparable silicon solutions.

Our HBT transistor powers wireless handsets, wireless local area network (WLAN) chips and 40 Gigabits per second
fiber optic network chips (OC 768), among the world's fastest. We recently extended our HBT performance and power savings with the introduction of our new GAIN-HBT™ transistor platform. This next-generation transistor significantly boosts power-added efficiency and improves signal linearity for higher frequency operation in cell phones, WLAN and other mobile appliances.

Kopin's HBT products have been used in billions of cell phone handsets worldwide. Our HBT technology will continue to be integral to the delivery of voice, video and data in mobile and broadband environments.

Ease-of-Processing:

At Kopin, we say that a complex structure yields a simpler solution. By forming the highly complex transistors prior to shipment to the circuit manufacturer, Kopin reduces the stress of sub-micron processing at our customers. This enables our circuit partners to use mature, high yield design rules to delineate and interconnect the transistors. Therefore, using Kopin's transistor wafers, they can achieve consistently higher yields on their high performance HBT circuits, even while using simpler, lower cost fab facilities than comparable silicon fabs. These higher yields and lower capital costs
translate to lower circuit production costs.

Smaller, More Compact Die:

Due to the vertical nature of the Kopin HBT, the die or chip can be very small. This allows our circuit partners to
pack many HBT circuits onto a wafer. This high die count, combined with the simpler, higher yield HBT process, enables circuit companies to generate many circuits and more revenue from each processed wafer, while still lowering circuit
prices to their customers.

A Better mousetrap and less production costs!, a tough combination. BUY LONGTERM. BUY ON PULLBACKS.

RSSYF hit $1.80 today. Up +174% since being place on the watchlist.

Remembering that Jojo got in about 32 cents (+562% return so far) which goes to show one how the earlybird gets
the worm and the profits.
It's a good example of getting a GOOD MULTIPLE.

Notice the volume spikes occuring shortly after this announcement:
RS Technologies (collectively "RS"), announced today that its Calgary facility has completed installation of automated filament winding equipment, capable of supporting commercial production demand for its RStandard(TM) composite products.

Initial trial runs of the filament winding equipment have confirmed production throughput rates
of 1,000 kilograms or 2,200 lbs.) of composite material per hour.

"When integration is completed and the Calgary facility is officially opened, it will be one of the largest capacity composite material facilities in the world," said Greg Pendura, president and chief executive officer, Resin Systems Inc. "When the facility is in full production, it has the ability to produce in excess of U.S. $56 million in composite material product revenues annually."

For all the outrage from U.S. drivers over soaring prices, they still pay much less than their European counterparts,
who have learned to adapt with much smaller cars and shorter commutes. In Britain, for example, petrol prices hover over roughly $6 a gallon.
