The beauty of Hold em, as opposed to more complex poker games like Omaha, is that ANY simpleton can understand the concept. Audiences operating on the instant gratification principle can easily understand 2 cards down, as opposed to 3, as opposed to the complex dynamics of any High-Lo game.
That's why audiences don't give a shit about whether there are pros aren't going to win it. They think that THEY are the pros and that this is an easily mastered game. But, for a stake and some time, THEY'd be the WSOP Winner !
Perfect game, in a 24-7 "reality show" time, for both America and the world...
