 RE:How can an NFL Ref see something different then the rest of the world???
Count, I realize he was never touched while he was on the ground but ask yourself this, How many times in a game will u see a defender hit a guy so he is off-balance and stumble forward for say 5-10 yrds before finally going down???? HE IS RULED DOWN BY CONTACT EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody has to touch him WHILE he is on the ground, thats the old "Down by Contact" Rule. It applies every time I see a guy go down when being knocked off-balance, every time but last night. |
