Alves played 3 rounds of qualification here but suprise he lost in the last one.He is playing in the first round due Nadal retire from the competition .In the third round he lost against Peya(6-7 ,1-6,1-6 ) and I don't realize how he can defeat a man with Pavel experience, an ex number 13 .
Pavel played more in double tournaments along his compatriots and in the first match in Queen's he lost against P.H.Mathieu. Andrei served very well especially in the second set but the match was quite balanced, Mathieu winning 6-4,7-6.
I will make this pick more based on Pavel experience and the lack of results for the brazilian. |
