1) Marketing Use the right terms and hype up a "big game", people can't help themselves.
2) Past history. Just like trends, people jump on a hot thing. The problem is, reality usually kicks in and the 22-3 run ends up being 39-34 at the end and the player ends up broke.
3) Chasing. Buried and seeing someone with a GOY, hard to say no.
