I always hear people say, why don't they just bet their own selections? Well, why does a stockbroker sell stocks? I know when Texas Sportwire was hot a few years back his customer list was in the 100's. If someone is charging $500-$1000+ for football, you do the math. Same with Northcoast. They charge a couple dimes for their service and god knows how many people they have.
So even using the %'s from my personal stuff over 4 years, if I had Northcoast marketing or the cheesiness of using GOYs every week, even with 50 guys at $500 each, outside of 2004 I would do better SELLING than BETTING the games at $1000 each.
2007 77-59 56.62%= +$12,100
2006 76-57 57.14%= +$13,300
2005 58-51 53.21%= +$1,900
2004 72-35 67.27%= +33,500
50 guys at $500 (most services sell football for more)= +$25,500 each year. |
