What happens when you have a guy that would only bet 2-3 games a week, but now he has a service telling him to play 10. And of course he bets more since now he has a "professional" opinion. And then he starts chasing as those 10 star plays start becoming 200 and 500 star plays. So he gets completely buried. That type of story is unfortunately not very rare. |
Its rare in toutdom that you are going to sign up a guy only playing 2-3 games a week. At least in my expierence. A person with that type of control aint buying no tout service. Why would they? There may be a few when there losing that do, but by and large the people buying are playing there games, the touts games, the free pick sites and anything else that appeals to them and, or is on tv. (I could tell stories for days.)
Many of you imagine that these guys do what they are told and follow the program exactly. I reality they do the exact opposite. They pay more than one service at a time, buy games off the net, play there own games, there friends games and constantly search for info to validate there shaky opinions on other games.
The things I saw working behind the scenes of the proline show is mind boggling enough alone in that regard. Forget the tens of millions they/we put up on the board at Feist over the years. An average of 9.3 million a year, credit card or wire only, the sales room only, for the 5.5 years I was there. From so called squares no less. HA. There anything but that. Believe me.
There going to get buried regardless of whether a tout is there to help them or not.
The real problem is how are they going to pay there bills. Many, unfortunatly, will pay there bookie so that they can keep playing, than pay there bills. This is not the touts problem. We only do what people let us do. Using only the power of our voice and persuasion to do it with at that. Over the phone no less, from1 mile away to 10,000+ miles away. It dont matter.
In the end some of the real truths of toutdom are very opposite of what you think.
Its a pure devestating psycholgy at play and it aint being preputated by the touts. This I can assure you.
