i hate the idea of punishing winning fighters.
with that kind of thinking we will never see anyone come close to remaining undefeated for any length of time, which is different kind of excitement. mayweather sells a ton of ppv's but he doesnt exactly put on a great show every time out.
it's crazy to say that a good defensive fighter that knows how to plan an optimal attack will never get an opportunity to fight for the title. i bet jardine is wishing he would have been a little more conservative against wandy (btw, what happened to the greg jackson master strategy.)
how the hell can a guy put together a consistent training and competitive program if he's got to go out and risk injury everytime he fights? its hard to improve as an athlete if you're injured every other fight.
