ATLANTIC CITY - The Georgia man charged in Saturday's fatal stabbing in a casino parking garage is being held at the Atlantic County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail, according to the jail's records office.
Vicente Perez, 57, is charged with aggravated manslaughter, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose.
Officials have declined to name the victim, who was pronounced dead at 4:05 p.m. Saturday, about an hour after the stabbing.
Perez and the victim had argued at a Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort poker table. They then walked out to the garage, and the confrontation continued, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said Saturday. |
