I am looking at 2006 and it says she finished in the top 10 of every LPGA vent she entered (thru July), including the majors. I know she tailed off toward the end of the year.

She was ranked as high as two in the world at one point.

She has been hurt all year. Thats why she hasnt played. She tried coming back for the major, just was too soon. Phil has a wrist injury too and he isnt playing. I am sure she is getting pressure to play since she hasnt all year, but she needs to get healthy first.

I didn't specifically say this, but I would have thought it was obvious that I wasn't interested in 2004-2005. That's why there is a thread entitled "Is Michelle Wie getting worse?" I was interested in, say, the last year-and I notice that you give all this stats from a good while ago, and then do the intenet equivalent of mumbling something at the end of a sentence-"...(thru July), including the majors. I know she tailed off toward the end of the year." How about giving us an idea of just how much she tailed off, andposting those results through the end of the year instead of just making a vague reference abou it? How about posting her results for THIS year when she actually played? You're right, when it comes to the type of hype and money that she has received, I'm NOT impressed with a bunch of "top ten finishes" and ZERO winds in close to three years. Furthermore, I don't believe she was hurt, or at least not to the extent that she claims-and I'm not alone. You never addressed the name calling, at least not to me, and the assumption that you knew what people on this forum have accomplished, and you-very revealiing, IMO-refuse to address Annika's comments. Wie was mentioned-briefly, but unflatteringly-on the Sports Reporters, and I am pretty sure that's only gonna be the beginning
