I could be quite wrong about this, but I suspect that for the hype and money she has received thus far, we should be talking about some tournament WINS by now, not "top ten finishes." I'd be willing to bet that there ARE players who have won something by the time they'd played as many tournaments as she has-and even if they HADN'T, they haven't received the money and hype that she has. As far as "wiping" things out, you did EXACTLY what I predicted: I don't care WHAT she did as an amateur, or why she wasn't alowed to play, we're talking about WHEN SHE TURNED PROFESSIONAL-"She has accomplished more than any professional golfer in history before age 18-THAT sound familiar? And I asked what has she accomplished as a professional, and the answer is, much to your-and her-chagrin, not much.

Point two: Oy, the injuries again. Sorry to beat a dead horse, but if you're injured, don't play, if you play, don't whine about injuries. In the tournaments she HAS played in, what's her average score and finish? As for what rules she has bent, there was some incident some months ago, I don't remember the specifics but I'm sure that a poster who doesn't have an agenda can google it, where she did something against the rules-inappropriately marked her ball, moved a blade of grass when she couldn't, something like that-and she claimed she didn't know the rules. That doesn't ring true, and you can take her at face value when she had her "wrist injury" when within two shots of a year long ban, I DON'T. ESPECIALLY since she was seen practicing a few days later. That's the part that Annika commented on, and, for the umpteenth time, I ask, why do you not have any comment on Annika's stance on the subject or belittling HER "accomplishments?" You didn't even address Point Three, I'm assuming because, more than on any of the other points, you realize you were wrong. As far as disgracing herself, I suspect that you avoid her bad press the way a thin skinned actor avoids bad reviews, both for the "88 ban" fiasco and for what I assume will be a shitload of criticism over this latest fiasco.
Since it irks you so much that so many of us think she deserves to be ripped, I don't understand why you don't just breeze on by such threads...

Nostaw, I have a feeling you are in for a big surprise in regard to her stats. You seem to think she has missed a bunch of cuts and seem unaware of her top ten finishes in majors, per major. Numbers which are very good.

She did not miss a cut on the womens tour from 2004-2005

She had 15 starts in 2004-2005. 4 top five finishes.

4 top five finishes in majors in 8 starts

I am looking at 2006 and it says she finished in the top 10 of every LPGA vent she entered (thru July), including the majors. I know she tailed off toward the end of the year.

She was ranked as high as two in the world at one point.

She has been hurt all year. Thats why she hasnt played. She tried coming back for the major, just was too soon. Phil has a wrist injury too and he isnt playing. I am sure she is getting pressure to play since she hasnt all year, but she needs to get healthy first.

Apparently you think any result that isnt a win is meaingless.

She has accomplished more before 17 then any golfer in history okay? Dropped the professional. Thought you understood I was talking about professional events.

If you want to gloat about someone being injured go ahead
