The US won't offer anything. The WTO is dead. It's deader than the League of Nations. That's the trouble with such international organizations. As soon as one of the big boys doesn't like a ruling, boom, there goes the organization's legitimacy. Without any meaningful enforcement capability it's just a debating society. Hell the UN can't even get Iran to behave so what the hell do you think the WTO can do to the US (or to China or Russia etc.)? |
