there are a few issues regarding to sports gambling "fairness"..yes, the events are settled on the field of play, but what about "bad line rule"? What about the potential for "fixed games"? There have been a number of incidents in Europe where officiating crews have been paid off. Who says the same won't (isn't) happening here? That is clearly one of the big concerns of NCAA in regards to gambling.

Of course, that does not discrimintae between online and "B&M" casinos. Vegas sportsbooks are just as susceptible to fixed games. But if there is a way to strengethen the case against game-fixing, it might go a long way towards combatting gambling opponents like the NCAA.
