Russian vodka smells like windshield wiper fluid. It probably tastes the same too.
Finlandia is by far the best vodka if you're looking for something smooth and clean.
And if you're really into vodka, you need to try Zubrowka (there should be a long, thin piece of grass inside it) which you are only supposed to drink with apple juice. Top notch.
