You are a brilliant marketer. You have a knack for authoring unique props that get picked up by the mass media and generate free advertising. What is your position on books making these type of props, benefiting from free advertising, and then subsequently reneging on bets when bettors have better information on the props than the house (ie survivor, the bachelor)?

I think there is an inherent amount of risk when offering these props and to a certain extent it comes with the territory

I understand you and your wife are good friends with the Hadeeds. How does Eddie justify what went down with Alladin’s Gold? What do you feel the Antigua Gaming Commission’s role should be in reimbursing defrauded customers? Unlike other gaming jurisdictions, Antigua has gone to great lengths to promote its regulatory capacity. Additionally, Antigua is among the most expensive jurisdictions to obtain a gaming license. Many people on this site feel that the Gaming Commission’s refusal to address this matter undercuts Antigua’s legitimacy argument within the WTO. Has anything been done to prevent this from happening again in Antigua?

Hello Simon, It has been a while...havn't spoke to you since the early days at Intertops. Is there anything that can be done with Pinnacle's software that would allow the bettor to accept the new line when a line change occurs during bet setup? When betting fast moving halftimes it is really tough to get a bet down. It might take 6 or more tries because the line is constantly changing...next thing you know, the 3rd quarter has started and you are shutout.

Hey Simon - I have a "taboo" question about taking action on horse racing - do you care to comment whether pinny lays of all, none, or some ie sharp action into the parimutuel pool? and if so, does it vary on track or strictly the player and their wager size?
Simon_-_PinnacleSports.com (Dec 14, 2005 9:41:45 PM)
We always go for the standard line as the default that we are trading the game at. The same price you would see on any line service
Simon_-_PinnacleSports.com (Dec 14, 2005 9:42:45 PM)
The idea behind the point selling is to help players scalp against another sports book or their local who say has a number that is a full 2 points off. You can usually scalp it against our number with point-selling. The sharps typically play as much of that bad number as possible and scalp most of it back at Pinnacle (leaving the equivalent of a small play on the bad number) for a low or no risk return.
mr_negative (Dec 14, 2005 9:43:09 PM)
